Lecture: Final Project Consultation
Further explanation and clarification are provided for those students who have queries regarding the final project.
Tutorial & Practical: Animation
After the feedback and consultation session, Mr Fauzi suggested changing the position of the background lighting to the side of the person to emphasise the main subject.

The machine gears and chains surrounding represent external restrictions, showing that we all live under certain rules and constraints imposed by society or other factors. The blurred sentences in the background represent random negative voices commonly encountered either online or in real life. They are blurred to emphasise the idea of not taking others' words too seriously. The heartbeat frequency was created from my introduction and biography, to highlight the importance of listening to your inner voices, understanding your true self, and being whoever you truly want to be.

My idea for the animation is to animate the heartbeat part and the gears. I tried using After Effects, but I couldn't achieve a satisfying effect for the heartbeat animation, so I switched to using Photoshop Timeframe for that part.
For the machine gears, I planned to make them spin. I tried separating different elements in Photoshop, but it was difficult to achieve a pleasant visual effect since the gears were incomplete. As a result, I temporarily gave up on this idea and started looking for other possible solutions.

I added a filter to achieve an old camera vibe, chose suitable background music, and included heartbeat and shutter sound effects to make it more realistic and convey the desired feelings.

The final animated poster was sent to Mr Fauzi for feedback to see if any adjustments are needed. The final version will be attached to Week 14 eportfolio.
